Terms of service
Last updated: 29 September 2026
1. Who sells
Stagionello Hub (stagionellohub.com) is the online store of Stagionello Service S.R.L., Via dell'Artigianato 2/B, 20061 Carugate (MI), Italy, VAT no. 09681900966, email support@stagionelloservice.it (hereinafter «Stagionello»). These terms govern every purchase made on the Stagionello Hub.
2. Who the Stagionello Hub is for
The Stagionello Hub sells to professionals in catering, butchery, fishmongery and cured meat production, and to private consumers. Anyone who buys giving a VAT number buys as a professional. The protections of the Italian Consumer Code apply only to the consumer, that is, the natural person acting for purposes outside their professional activity (art. 3 of the Consumer Code).
The Stagionello® Chef functional blends and spices are food products intended exclusively for professional use and are not intended for retail sale, as stated in the page of each product. Whoever buys them declares that they do so for their own professional activity.
Access to some content and prices requires registration: the data entered must be true and up to date. Spare part prices are reserved for customers who have registered a Stagionello device. Access to the account is by a code sent to the customer's email, and the customer is responsible for the use of their account.
3. Product information
The characteristics, sizes, prices and instructions for use of each product are given in its page and in the linked technical data sheets, and the shipping cost is shown before the order is confirmed (art. 49 of the Consumer Code). Images are for illustration purposes only.
4. Orders and conclusion of the contract
The contract is concluded when you receive the order confirmation email, which summarises products, prices, shipping costs and the seller's details (art. 51, paragraph 7, of the Consumer Code). Stagionello may decline an order, for example if a product is no longer available or in the event of an obvious pricing error: in that case we let you know and refund in full what you have paid.
5. Prices, VAT and payments
Prices are in euros and include VAT. Shipping costs are calculated on weight and destination and are shown at checkout. You can pay by credit or debit card, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal or bank transfer. With a bank transfer the order is prepared once the payment is received; if the payment does not arrive within 7 days the order is cancelled. The invoice is issued with the billing details entered in the account or at checkout.
6. Shipping and delivery
Orders leave within 2 working days. Carriers, zones, rates and times are described in the Shipping policy. Unless otherwise agreed, delivery takes place within 30 days of the order (art. 61 of the Consumer Code). For the consumer, the risk passes at the time of delivery (art. 63); for the professional, upon delivery of the products to the carrier (art. 1510 of the Italian Civil Code).
7. Withdrawal and returns
The consumer may withdraw within 14 days of delivery, with the exclusions provided by law for sealed food packaging opened after delivery and for made-to-measure products (arts. 52-59 of the Consumer Code). For those who buy with a VAT number, the statutory withdrawal does not apply. Procedures, costs and refund times are described in the Returns and refunds policy.
8. Warranties
Consumer. You are entitled to the legal guarantee of conformity for defects that appear within 24 months of delivery: the product is repaired or replaced at no cost, or the price is reduced or the contract is terminated (arts. 128 et seq. of the Consumer Code).
Professional. The warranty against defects in the goods sold applies: the defect must be reported within 8 days of its discovery and the claim is time-barred one year after delivery (arts. 1490-1495 of the Italian Civil Code).
For food products, the date and storage conditions shown on the packaging and in the technical data sheet apply.
9. Correct use of the products
Functional blends, semi-finished goods, flavourings and spare parts must be used following the doses, instructions and technical data sheets published, and the hygiene and health rules applicable to the customer's business. Stagionello is liable for its products within the limits of the law, including liability for damage caused by defective products (arts. 114 et seq. of the Consumer Code), and is not liable for results obtained with uses other than those indicated. Spare parts must be fitted to the devices for which they are indicated.
10. Trademarks, patents and content
Stagionello®, Stagionello® Chef, Cuomo Method® and Ricetta Climatica® are registered trademarks. The Cuomo Method® is protected by patents EP 2769276B1 and CA2852650. Texts, images, videos and technical data sheets on the site are protected by copyright (Italian Law no. 633 of 22 April 1941) and may not be copied or reused without written permission.
11. Privacy and cookies
The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy and the use of cookies in the Cookie Policy.
12. Applicable law and disputes
The contract is governed by Italian law. For the consumer, the more favourable rules of the country where they reside remain applicable (art. 6 of Regulation (EC) 593/2008), and the competent court is that of the place where they reside or are domiciled (art. 66-bis of the Consumer Code). The consumer may also turn to an alternative dispute resolution body (arts. 141 et seq. of the Consumer Code). The European ODR platform has been discontinued (Regulation (EU) 2024/3228). For contracts with professionals, the Court of Milan has jurisdiction.
13. Changes
Stagionello may update these terms. Each order is governed by the version published at the time the order is placed.
